Since 1976, LDA has specialized in functional planning, consulting, interior design and furnishings procurement for public, academic, special and school libraries. Our staff consists of library building consultants, interior designers and project managers. At LDA, client service and customer satisfaction are key. Our design philosophy embraces the meeting of functional requirements within a framework of innovative design. We have successfully completed projects in contemporary, transitional and traditional environments, producing interiors that reflect our clients’ preferences, while remaining in harmony with the architectural design.

Our computer-aided technology allows us to provide our clients with floor plans, three-dimensional views and virtual building tours. All procurement services are coordinated using a unique computer database, which provides total control of project budgeting, ordering, forecasting and scheduling. In addition, we install shelving, compact shelving, furniture and technical equipment using a factory-trained labor force that has worked with us exclusively for more than 30 years.
