LDA was hired to provide complete project management services for the new Brandon Township Public Library. The building is located in a beautiful rural setting and was designed to reflect the residential character of the site and the community. The scale of the interior complements the residential architectural style, while the adult and youth areas have distinctive furnishings suitable for each age group.

The adult area provides varied seating options for the public. The periodical area is modeled after a living room, with groupings of upholstered lounge seating on either side of a two-way fireplace. There are tables to accommodate four readers, individual study tables and four-person alcoves providing quiet, private study spaces, many with task lighting. There are alcoves for audiovisual items, new books, book sale items and a separate young adult room. Self-check machines and the Copy Center are grouped at the entry and lobby.

The youth room includes a separate office and workroom for the staff, as well as a large craft room with foldout tables and benches. Computer stations are oversized to allow several children to share a computer. There is also a separate quiet room where parents can read to their children.
