LDA provided complete project management services for all three phases of construction for the West Bloomfield Township Public Library. During construction of the last addition, temporary library service was provided in three separate locations for adults, youth and administration — and LDA also planned these locations.

The enlarged building provides more space for all services, along with many enhancements. Seating capacity and collections have been increased. The new Information Commons contains 50 computers, as well as a Computer Lab. There are group studies and quiet rooms of varying sizes, a casual study room with vending machines and a Friends of the Library store. Circulation has been made more convenient by the installation of self-check machines and a drive-up window. In the youth room, there is an emphasis on early learning development to help pre-school children and parents become a community of readers.
